Registration set for swimming classes

Registration for the upcoming fall swimming lesson session at the YMCA of Van Wert County will be September 3-15. This will be an eight-week session, running September 23 through November 16.  Registration fees for this session are $15 for family members, $25 for youth members and $60 for potential members.

“The Y provides the most up-to-date American Red Cross approved swimming and water safety program,” stated Martha Martin, Van Wert YMCA aquatic director.  “It keeps a fun atmosphere, while combining the best in swim instruction with an even stronger emphasis on drowning prevention and water safety—ideal for anyone wanting to enjoy the water safely, regardless of age or skill level,” Martin added.  All YMCA classes are taught by Red Cross Certified Instructors with over 120 years of combined aquatic instruction experience.
