New downtown business

The Embroidery Coop, a recent addition to downtown Van Wert, officially opened at its new location at 126 E. Main St. with a ribboncutting on Thursday. Here, store owners Ernie Geyer and Shelly Becker cut the ribbon on the new store, which offers custom embroidery services and items, as well as screen printing and other services. Store hours are from Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m., Thursdays from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. and Saturdays, 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Geyer and Becker have been operating a business since 2011 from their home, but recently opened the new store.
