Local Elks plan 9/11 memorial service

Van Wert Lodge 1197, Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, will be conducting a 9/11 Service of Remembrance on Tuesday, September 10, starting at 7 p.m., in the Lodge Room.

This service will pay tribute and respect to all those who lost their lives on this day in 2001, as well as those members of the armed forces who have served and are serving this great nation to keep it free.

This service will be conducted by lodge officers and is open to the public.

Local Elks Exalted Ruler Jerry Mazur and Jill Evans, lodge Americanism chair, invite everyone to bring the family and come out for this impressive service.
