Military academy info meeting set

BOWLING GREEN — The office of U.S. Representative Bob Latta (R-Bowling Green) will host a military academy information night for the 2014 academic year. The informational meeting will take place from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, September 16, in the library of Findlay High School, 1200 Broad Ave.

During the meeting, potential candidates will be advised of the congressional nomination process and have the opportunity to meet with representatives from the various military academies.

Representatives from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, U.S. Naval Academy at Annapolis, U.S. Air Force Academy at Colorado Springs, and U.S. Merchant Marine Academy at King’s Point have been invited to attend.

Potential candidates may also obtain an application for a military service academy nomination at the meeting. Original applications are due September 30. Completed applications will be due October 15.
