Elks honor 9/11 victims

Van Wert Lodge 1197, Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, held a 9-11 Service of Remembrance on Tuesday evening, September 10, at the Elks Lodge. The service paid tribute and respect to all those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001, and also honored all members of the United States armed forces who have served their country and those who are serving at this time. Candles were lit in memory of all who perished. American citizens must never forget those who lost their lives on that fateful day. Shown is Lodge Chaplain Larry Miller leading the group in prayer.
