CONVOY — The Crestview Lady Knights hosted the Ada Lady Bulldogs this past Saturday in Convoy, and were able to score early and often to defeat the Lady Bulldogs 6-0.

Riley Guest got things started with a penalty kick at the 38:29 mark of the first half and was able to lay the ball in past the diving Bulldog goalkeeper to put the Knights on top 1-0.  Brooke Bowen added a goal four minutes later and Guest got her second goal at the 30:06 mark.

Lauren Schmid was able to break free from the defense at 22:30 to net a goal, and the Lady Knights were up 4-0 at halftime.

The second half got started and Bowen got her second goal of the game at 29:34, while Schmid took a direct kick and was able to drive in a long ball over the hands of the goalkeeper.

The Lady Knights continued to play solid defense and shut out the Lady Bulldogs. Crestview keeper Alyssa Walter had three saves on the day and got the shutout.

Crestview’s record now stands at 1-3-1 and 1-0-1 in the NWC.
