Parkway boy golfers defeat Rangers

ROCKFORD — The Parkway boys’ golf team defeated the New Knoxville Rangers 170-206 Thursday afternoon at Deerfield Golf Club.

Leading the scoring for the Panthers was Jordan Bollenbacher, who shot a 38 for nine holes. Brian Schatzer carded a 40, and Cole Schoenleben and Austen Stukey both shot 46 to finish the scoring for the Panthers. Hayden Lyons and Connor Morton both shot 48 for Parkway.

Scoring for New Knoxville were David Boesche (47), Brandon Steinke (50), Shane Topp (53) and Robert Egbert (56).

Parkway is now 6-1 in the Midwest Athletic Conference and 6-2 overall in dual matches.
