4 more indicted for Delphos drug sales

DELPHOS — Delphos Police Chief Kyle Fittro announced Friday that indictments have been handed down by the Allen County Grand Jury in connection with a drug operation conducted by the Delphos PD and West Central Ohio Crime Task Force that resulted in nine indictments by the Van Wert County Grand Jury.

Indicted in Allen County were the following:

Candy J. Brooks, 49, one count of trafficking in heroin, with a specification that she used a vehicle to sell drugs in Allen County. Brooks is in custody.

Catherine E. Wilson, 25, of Delphos, was indicted on one count of trafficking in heroin. She is currently incarcerated in the Van Wert Correctional Facility. Once she is released from there, she will be transferred to the Allen County Jail.

Phillip L. Cross, 25, one count of trafficking in heroin. Cross is not in custody at this time, but is believed to be in Tennessee.

Nichole L. Keirns, 26, of Delphos, three counts of trafficking in marijuana within 1,000 feet of a school. Keirns is in custody at this time.

Melony R. Sunday, 19, formerly of Delphos, was indicted on one count of trafficking in heroin in Van Wert County and three counts of trafficking in heroin in Allen County. She is currently being sought by law enforcement agencies and is believed to be somewhere in the Celina area.

The West Central Ohio Crime Task Force is comprised of officers from the Delphos and Lima police departments, Van Wert County and Allen County sheriff’s offices, and several state and federal agencies. The task force also works closely with the Paulding and Putnam county sheriff’s offices.
