Lancer girls lose to LCC in soccer

The Lincolnview Lady Lancer soccer team lost to Lima Central Catholic 7-0 in Northwest Conference action on Monday.

Scorers for LCC included Meredith Sheperd (3), Emma Baumgartner (2), Cece Gandy and Liz Taflinger (one apiece).

The Lady Thunderbirds had 23 shots on goal, compared to five for Lincolnview. Lancer goalkeeper Julia Thatcher had 16 saves, while LCC’s Madison Stolly had five.

Lincolnview is now 0-5-2 overall.
