Annabet M. Cotterman

Annabet M. Cotterman, 85, of Van Wert and formerly of Scott, died at 11:25 p.m. Monday, September 16, 2013, at Van Wert Manor.

She was born February 16, 1928, in Ann Arbor, Mich., the daughter of the late Fred and Grace (Kipfer) Shaner. In June 1943, she married Raymond Cotterman, who preceded her in death in 1994.

Survivors include two children, Larry (Deloris) Cotterman of Van Wert and Carol Jordan of Sidney; five grandchildren, John Colley of Sidney, Christine Bannion of Greenville, David Clark of Washington (state), Jeff Cotterman of Scott and Janice Snyder of Minnesota; a stepgrandson, David Scott of Van Wert; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Four brothers, Ralph, Richard, Jack, and Carl Shaner, also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at noon Saturday, September 21, at Brickner Funeral Home in Van Wert, with the Rev. Paul W. Miller officiating. Burial will be in Scott Cemetery.

Calling hours are from 10 a.m.-noon Saturday at the funeral home.
