Lancer girl golfers defeat Parkway
Lincolnview girls’ golf news
The Parkway girls’ golf team came to Hickory Sticks Golf Course to take on the host Lancers of Lincolnview in non-conference action. With the sun shining on the cool evening, the Lancers prevailed by a score of 195 to 245.
Match medalist honors went to a pair of Lancers, as senior Macey Ashbaugh and freshman Makenzie Kraft each shot rounds of 48. Panthers Terra Walls shot a 53 to pace Parkway.
Other scores for the Lancers include Mikenna Klinger’s 49, Macala Ashbaugh’s 50 and Kaylee Hobbs’
60. Other scores for the Panthers included Brenna Brazle’s 58, Autumn Stetler’s 60, and Liz Dellinger, with a 74. Also competing for Parkway was Taylor Hesse and Maggie Hesse.
Crestview had two individuals play, as Kennis Mercer and Taylor Hughes tallied scores of 63 and 75, respectively.
Back on Monday, Lincolnview traveled to the Mercer County Elks Golf Course to take on the Flyers of Marion Local and were defeated 215 to 225. Ashbaugh and Klinger led the Lancers.
The Lancers are currently 8-5 on the season and will play in the Willow Bend Invitational this Thursday at Willow Bend Country Club.
