Gladys Mae Fauble

Gladys Mae Fauble, 88, of Van Wert, died at 5:50 p.m. Wednesday, September 18, 2013, at Colonial Nursing Center in Rockford.

She was born August 19, 1925, in Illinois, the daughter of the late Cecil William Hill and Florine May (Miller) Hill Hudson. On January 28, 1946, she married Paul Gilbert Fauble, who preceded her in death on August 1, 2002.

Survivors include a son, Gary (Sheila) Fauble of Xenia; one daughter, Carol (Frank) Felter of Holgate; four brothers, Jerry Hill of Schoolcraft, Mich., Kenneth (Barbara) Hill of The Colony, Texas, Harold (Linda) Hill of Rose Hill, Va., and David (Linda) Hill of Van Wert; two sisters, Jewel (Tex) Hensley of Rose Hill, Va., and Mary Walters of Van Wert; and one granddaughter.

Two brothers, Henry Paul Hill and James M. Hill, and five brothers and sisters in infancy, also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, September 21, at Trinity Friends Church in Van Wert, with Pastor Steve Savage officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Ohio City.

Calling hours are from noon-2 p.m. Saturday at the church.

Preferred memorials: Colonial Nursing Center Activity Department.
