VW golfers 6th at Bryan tournament

BRYAN — The Van Wert Cougar golf team finished sixth out of 12 teams in the Golden Bear Invitational tournament held at Bryan.
The Cougars’ carded a 357 for the day, while Delphos St. John’s won the tournament with an excellent 302, 29 strokes better than second-place Napoleon. Match medalist was Tanner Clingaman of Stryker, who tied with Blue Jay Luke Campbell with a 72 on the day.
