Knight v-ball team defeats Paulding

Crestview’s volleyball team came out on top Tuesday evening in a Northwest Conference match-up against the Paulding Lady Panthers, with the Lady Knights winning in straight games: 25-19, 25-11 and 25-12.

The Crestview junior varsity team was defeated in straight games.

Serving – Tianna Rager, 17/17 with four aces; Mackenzie Riggenbach, 17/17 with two aces; Haley Helm, 17/17; Claire Zaleski, 11/11; Courtney Trigg, 7/7 with three aces; Mallory Bowen, 3/3 with one ace.

Hitting – Trigg, 10 kills; Megan Hartman and Helm, five kills each; Zaleski, three kills; Riggenbach, two kills.

Assists – Riggenbach, 12 assists; Helm, nine assists.

Digs – Rager, 12 digs; Zaleski, eight digs.

Crestview is now 10-3 overall and 4-0 in league play. The Lady Knights will return to action on Thursday as they travel to Spencerville for another conference contest.
