Beverly A. Saylor

Beverly A. Saylor, 68, of Van Wert, died at 9:27 a.m. Thursday, September 26, 2013, at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima.

She was born May 29, 1945, in Van Wert, the daughter of the late Gerald W. and Lydia L. (Hennis) Schnepp.

Beverly retired from the former Teleflex Corporation plant in Van Wert after 41 years of service. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Van Wert, bowled for more than 30 years, loved to camp and was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes and Cincinnati Bengals fan.

Survivors include three stepchildren, Brad (Kim) Saylor of Van Wert, Lori (Kent) Klinger of Fort Jennings and Tammy (Jeff “Boone”) Hartman of Ohio City; five stepgrandchildren, Adam and Kelsey Saylor, Tabitha Hartman, and Gregory and Justin Klinger; and a stepgreat-daughter, Adrianna L. Hartman.

A brother, Donald E. Schnepp; and one stepgrandchild, Toby Tate, also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Monday, September 30, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert, with the Rev. Hal Shaffer officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert.

Calling hours are from 2-6 p.m. Sunday, September 29, at the funeral home.
