C’view v-ball team downs Spencerville

The Crestview Lady Knight volleyball team traveled to Spencerville on Thursday and came away with a Northwest Conference victory over the Lady Bearcats in three straight games: 25-18, 25-18 and 25-11.

Crestview is now 11-3 overall and 5-0 on league play.

Leading the way in kills was Courtney Trigg, while leading server was Mackenzie Riggenbach. Tops in defensive digs was Tianna Rager and Riggenbach, while Haley Helm balanced the attack with assists.

The Lady Knights will be back in action Saturday as they host the Fricker’s Lady Knight Volleyball Tournament at Crestview High School. Crestview will open against Fort Recovery, starting at 9 a.m. Saturday.

The Crestview junior varsity also won Thursday in two straight games.
