Time capsule dug up

While working on sidewalk renovations Friday at the front entranceway to the Van Wert Municipal Building, city workers also unearthed a time capsule believed buried sometime in 1985 (see photo at right). Van Wert Mayor Don Farmer said the capsule, which remains unopened at this time, will be opened in the near future at a more appropriate time and place, with items then displayed for the public to see and enjoy.
