Wolfrum, LJHS CC boys’ team take firsts

EDGERTON — The Lincolnview Junior High cross country reams completed at the Edgerton Invitational meet over the weekend, where the Lancer boys placed first out of 15 schools.

Leading the way was Calahan Wolfrum, who won the race in a time of 10:51, which sets a new school record, breaking Bayley Tow’s time of 10:56 set in 2010 (Tow just missed the high school record by 6 seconds on Saturday).

Sam Myers was fourth, Karter Tow was eighth, Sterling Rigdon ninth, Alek Bowersock 14th, Keegan Cowan 29th, Logan Williams 35th, Andrew Robinson 42nd, James Greathouse 46th,  Dylan Neate 56th, Jacob Keysor 57th, Noah Daeger 64th and Cameron McAbee 74th.

The boys set 11 personal records on the day.

On the Lady Lancer side of things, Brayden Langdon was fifth overall with a time of 12:51 and just missed the Lincolnview Junior High girls’ record of 12:45.

Alena Looser was sixth, Trinity Welch 17th, Olivia Gorman 31st, Miah Katalenas 38th, Kathy Tate 45th, Madison Sill 49th and Shae Hines 56th.

The girls finished in fourth place out of 15 schools and had five personal records for the day.
