Rockford park donation

Ryan Sipe, branch manager of The Peoples Bank Company in Rockford, presents a $2,500 donation to Rockford Recreation Association Board President Ryan Thompson to be used for permanent improvements to the recreational facilities at Shanes Park. “The Peoples Bank Company appreciates the opportunity to support the Rockford Community and all of its worthwhile projects,” Sipe said. In 2013, the Rockford Recreation Association provided recreational programming for nearly 500 participants ranging in ages from 4-15. The current programs offered by the association include t-ball, coach pitch, baseball, softball, flag football, and soccer. Other competitive opportunities that are hosted include the annual MLB Pitch, Hit, & Run and the NFL Punt, Pass, & Kick competitions.
