Homecoming is just around the corner for the Crestview Knights, as tomorrow is their fall homecoming ceremony before the football game at 7 p.m. The students look forward to not only the ceremony but the dance and the powderpuff game as well. Junior Alex Cunningham mentioned, “I’m excited for the football game and the powderpuff game.”
In addition, this whole week the students have a spirit week where they dress for different themes for every day of the week. The themes for this year’s fall homecoming spirit week were superhero, construction, rock-n-roll, sports day, and spirit day. They also look forward to have an assembly at the end of the day before school is over.
Today is the parade which starts at 6:30 p.m. and following the parade is mock homecoming and the powderpuff game.
Senior Kali Coleman said, “I’m excited that it is my senior year and being able to spend it with all my friends .”
This game is a battle between the juniors and seniors, all who are ready to play and go at it on the football field.
Senior Chelsi Siefker said, “Being able to have one of the last big moments with the Class of 2014 is great and at the end of the game we’re coming home with a W.”
