Cougar v-ball team loses to St. Marys

The Van Wert Lady Cougar varsity volleyball team lost a hard-fought Western Buckeye League match in four games to St. Marys in Van Wert’s final match of the season.
“It was tough fought contest that we could have won at any point, but just couldn’t put it away,” said Van Wert Coach Vicki Smith.
The Cougars ended the regular season with a 15-7 record and could face the Lady Roughriders again in the sectional finals on Saturday, October 19.
