Main Street VW sets Halloween events

Main Street VW information

Main Street Van Wert will host both a 1-mile Fun Run, as well as Costume 5K Run/Walk, on Saturday, October 26, as part of the Harvest Moon Fest in downtown Van Wert.

Both races will start and finish at the historic Hotel Marsh on East Main Street. The 1-mile Fun Run begins at 8 a.m., with registration just $1 for each child participating.

The Costume 5K Run/Walk will begin at 9 that morning; registration is $15 and is non-refundable. All fitness levels are welcome and are encouraged to run or walk the route in Halloween costume.

Entries will be accepted now and on race day, with t-shirts to the first 50 registered. Race day registration starts at 7:30 a.m. in front of the Hotel Marsh. Prizes will be given for the top male and female finishers and top in each age category.
