Debra A. McClure

Debra A. McClure, 62, of Van Wert, died at 2:55 a.m. Thursday, October 17, 2013, at the Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center.

She was born January 30, 1951, in Defiance, the daughter of the late Gerald L. “Jed” and Donna M. (Casteel) Killion. On December 19, 1978, she married Larry L. McClure, who survives in Van Wert.

Other survivors include her former husband, Steve Treece of Van Wert; a son, Troy (Leah) Treece of Ohio City; two stepchildren, Kent (Heather) McClure of Venedocia and Chris McClure of Van Wert; two sisters, Barbara Shinabery of Van Wert and Carol (John) Jones of Ohio City; two grandchildren, Owen and Olivia Treece; five stepgrandchildren; and a stepgreat-grandchild.

She was a retired dairy manager at Chief Supermarket in Paulding. Deb truly loved and supported her grandchildren and made sure to attend any event they participated in. She also loved her dog and spending wonderful times with all of her family and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Monday, October 21, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert, with the Rev. Paul W. Miller officiating. A private committal service will be held in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert.

Calling hours are from 2-6 p.m. Sunday, October 20, at the funeral home.
