Gloria ‘June’ Bechtol

Gloria “June” Bechtol, 79, of Van Wert, died Sunday evening, November 10, 2013, at her residence.

She was born November 23, 1933, in Van Wert, the daughter of the late Gaylord Halliwill and Marcile (Parks) Hall. On March 3, 1957, she married Donald E. Bechtol, who preceded her in death.

Survivors include two children, Timothy (Sandy) Bechtol of Van Wert and Linda Bechtol of Denver, Colo.; a brother, Charles (Pat) Halliwill of Scott; and one granddaughter.

Her stepfather, Charles Hall, and her stepmother, Kathryn Halliwill, also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, November 16, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Va Wert, with the Rev. Paul W. Miller officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert.

Calling hours are from 4-8 p.m. Friday, November 15, at the funeral home.
