Busy weekend for Knights
By Kali Coleman

The Knights kicked off their busy weekend with the round one playoff game at LCC on November 8th. The Knights left the T-Birds speechless with a 48-34 victory. This was the first playoff win in Knight history, and also the very first win Crestview has ever had over LCC.
“We have to give LCC a lot of credit for playing hard, but in the end we were the better team. We are looking forward to playing again this week,” said junior Nate Owens.
The Knights take on Ada in Wapak tomorrow night. Crestview beat Ada earlier this season with a 63 to 12 victory.
“We can’t overlook Ada because of how we beat them earlier this season. We have to expect them to come out and play their best,” said Senior Captain Scott Miller.
Knight Vision competed at Ada last Saturday. This was their first competition this season. The group placed third overall in their class, with only one point separating them from second place. There is a judge at every competition that chooses a best performer for each group, and sophomore Nevada Smith was chosen as Crestview’s. “I think our first competition went really well, but we all know that there is room for improvement,” said junior Mallory Bowen.
the school announced their musical earlier this year. They are performing the musical Annie Saturday night at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday afternoon at 3 p.m. The dates were originally Friday and Saturday night, but due to playoff game, the musical was moved to Sunday. The cast has been busy all week with three hour dress rehearsals every night, in preparation for the upcoming show. “I am looking forward to opening nights, we have worked hard and are excited to perform it for the audience,” said Junior Hannah Drake. The cast hopes that the community will come support them this weekend for all of the activities.
