Donald H. Adams
Donald H. Adams, 79, of Paulding, died Friday, November 15, 2013, at the Laurels of Defiance.

He was born December 25, 1933, in Latty, the son of the late James H. and Grace E. (Finnegan) Adams.
He grew up in the Grover Hill area, attended Hoaglin-Jackson High School and spent the last two years at Van Wert High School, graduating in 1951. He served in the U.S. Army from 1955-56, and, on October 5, 1958, married Judith Kay Parson, who survives.
He was employed by LaFarge Cement Plant in Paulding, Aeroquip Corporation in Van Wert and West Los Angeles, Calif., and retired from the General Motors Central Foundry in Defiance in 1990 after 30 years of service. He was a life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 587 in Paulding.
Donald is also survived by a daughter, Lori L. Lytle of West Liberty; one son, Eric (Denise) Adams of Canfield; five grandchildren, Scott (Amanda) Hartwick, Mindy (Sylvester) Torres, Christopher Adams, Lauren Adams, and Tina (Matt) Keeran; a stepgrandson, Rob (Audrey) Blevins; three great-grandchildren, Nathan Hartwick, Elijah Roscom and Brayden Keeran; four stepgrandchildren, Kelsey and Serenity Blevins and Maria and Alexis Martinez; a half-brother, Arthur (Mary) Finnegan; and four half-sisters, Linda, Carol, Treva and Ruth.
His stepfather, Clifford Pate; and a daughter, Kristy Kay, who died in 1983, also preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 19, at Den Herder Funeral Home in Paulding. Burial will be at a later date, with graveside military honors performed by VFW Post 587.
Calling hours are from 2-8 p.m. Monday, November 18, and one hour prior to services Tuesday at the funeral home.
Preferred memorials: In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Parkinson’s Society of North West Ohio, Community Health Professionals of Paulding, or to the family.
