Bitty Ballers leagues taking registrations

YMCA of Van Wert County information

The “Bitty Ballers” Basketball League registration is going on now until December 2.  During this league, the kids participate in basketball at a very basic level and serves as an introduction to team sports. Kids that play in this league will play on lower basketball hoops to ensure proper technique, while taking into account the strength of younger children.

This league is designed for boys and girls 4 years old to second grade.

The divisions are as follows: 4 years old to kindergarten boys and girls. First- and second-grade boys’ league and first- and second-grade girls’ league.

Games will be held for the 4 years old to kindergarten league on Thursdays, January 9-February 13, 2014. The first and second grade league will be on Saturday mornings, from January 4 through February 8, 2014.
