Mary Lou Adams

Mary Lou Adams, 94, of Van Wert, died Tuesday evening, November 19, 2013, at her residence.

She was born September 21, 1929, in Paulding, the daughter of the late Darrel M. and Gertrude (Tigner) Yenser. On May 22, 1948, she married James L. Adams, who preceded her in death on March 26, 2007.

Survivors include two children, Tom L. (Cheryl) Adams of Dallas, N.C., and John E. (Brenda) Adams of Scott; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Three brothers and one sister also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, November 23, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert, with the Rev. Paul W. Miller officiating. Burial will be in Scott Cemetery.

Calling hours are from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Preferred memorial: Alzheimer Association.
