Moose Lodge gives to YWCA

Moose donation to YWCA 11-2013

The Van Wert YWCA recently received a donation from Van Wert Moose Lodge 1320. Here, Jerry Mason (right), an officer of the Moose Lodge, presents Tammy Branham, executive director of the YWCA, with a check for $1,000, with the donation to be used to support the Transitional Living Program. Currently, the YWCA is the primary comprehensive transitional program in Van Wert, Mercer, Paulding, and Auglaize counties, providing homeless women and families with safe housing and intensive case management support for up to 12 months. The YWCA is also the first program in the area to offer housing for entire families, including fathers and single-father families. The YWCA thanks the Van Wert Moose Lodge for its generous donation. The YWCA is a United Way and Van Wert County Foundation funded agency. (photo submitted)
