Lady Lancers lose opener to Continental

The Lincolnview Lady Lancers had a tough girls’ basketball opener on Saturday, losing to Continental 46-29 in a non-conference game played at Lincolnview.

The Lady Pirates led 11-5 at the end of the first quarter and were up by 9 points, 17-8, at the half. Continental then outscored the Lancers 21-11 in the third quarter for a commanding 38-19 lead heading into the final period of play.

Julia Thatcher led the Lancers with 8 points, while Paige Ordway led Continental with 16 points.
