Knights roll through winter

By Zen Burdette

As the winter months go on, the traffic may have slowed due to the snow but not Crestview Knight Vision or athletics.

Crestview’s Knight Vision, chorus, and band performed a Christmas concert last Sunday at the school with a great turnout.  Crestview Knight Vision also performed Sunday night with Point of Grace at the Van Wert Performing Arts Center.  The Knight Vision students were all excited to participate in the concert with Point of Grace.

“It was so exciting to sing with them; I have always been a fan.  It was a great opportunity and we may never get a chance like this again,” said senior Ali Macki.

The Crestview girls’ basketball team is on track in having a great season coming off a big conference win against the Ada Bulldogs last Thursday making them 2-0 in the conference.  The girls are a solid 5-1 overall and looking to keep the momentum going.

“Being four and one is a good feeling.  Even though that one loss was a tough one we are taking that a learning experience and are going to improve,” said junior Megan Hartman

Last Friday the Crestview boys’ basketball team beat the Ada Bulldogs at Ada in the NWC opener.  The Knights had control of the whole game scoring the first five points and never losing the lead the whole game.

“Whenever we go over to Ada and come back with a victory it’s always a great feeling especially since they are in our conference.  That was our first conference game and it was the first step to winning the NWC conference title this year and we hope to keep rolling,” said senior Lucas Gibson.  The undefeated Boys take on the next NWC team tomorrow at Delphos Jefferson tipoff is at 7:30 p.m.
