Janice J. Johnson

Janice J. Johnson, 84, of Van Wert, died at 12:27 p.m. Wednesday, December 18, 2013, at Van Wert County Hospital in Van Wert.

She was born November 2, 1929, in Van Wert, the daughter of the late Guy A. and Mary (Spear) Ragan. On May 17, 1959, she married Robert E. Johnson, who preceded her in death on October 26, 1994.

Survivors include a sister-in-law, Nina Ragan of Van Wert; and five nieces and nephews.

A brother, Carl W. Ragan; and two sisters, Muriel Yore and Burnice Davis, also preceded her in death.

Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, December 27, in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert, with the Rev. Hal Shafer officiating. Burial will follow.

There will be no calling hours.
