Cougar boy bowlers lose to Coldwater

The Van Wert boys’ bowling team had its best showing of the year, but still fell to perennial powerhouse Coldwater by a score of 2879-2756.

In the individual games, Coldwater stormed out to a commanding lead by shooting a red-hot 1079 game to the Cougars’ 939.  The Cougars then made up some ground in the second individual game, rolling a real nice 902 game to Coldwater’s 831. At the end of individual games, Coldwater had the edge 1910-1841.

In the Baker competition, Van Wert shot five solid games but Coldwater regained its red hot streak to put the Cougars away.
