Willshire sets date for ‘Resolution Run’

WILLSHIRE — Get the new year started off right with the “Resolution Run” on New Year’s Day in Willshire. The 5K/1mile fun run/walk will begin at 10 a.m., “snow or shine”, near the Wilshire Lions Clubhouse, with sign-in and registration beginning at 9 that morning.

Pre-registration before December 30 is $10 and, after that or the day of run, is $15. Proceeds from this event will be used for improvements to the northeast shelterhouse in the park and other community projects.

Plenty of hot chocolate will be served in the Lion’s club following the run.
