4-H dog club info meeting this Tuesday

The Van Wert County 4-H program has announced the makeup date for the Dog Club kick-off information meeting. The meeting will be held Tuesday, January 14, at the Van Wert County Extension Office on the Fairgrounds, beginning at 7 p.m.

This club is for young people ages 8-18 who are at least in third grade and are interested in working with and/or showing their dog(s). Club advisor will be Donna Jones, an experienced 4-H dog volunteer.

Youths are invited to attend the meeting to visit, ask questions, and learn about what it means to be involved in a 4-H dog club.  Dogs need not be purebred or registered to participate.
