Robert Eugene Mosier

Robert Eugene Mosier, 79, of Ohio City, died at 6:45 p.m. Saturday, January 11, 2014, at Vancrest Health Care Center in Van Wert.

He was born May 24, 1934, in Paulding, the son of the late Clay Estel and Ada (Marsh) Mosier MacAdow. On September 28, 1957, he married Jo Louise (Zeigler) Mosier, who survives in Ohio City.

Other survivors include a son, Clint E. (Amy) Mosier of Ohio City; one daughter, Cathy J. (Kent) Kundert of Ohio City; two brothers, Glen (Ellen) Mosier of Ohio City and Paul (Dayna) Mosier of Bradenton, Fla.; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 15, at Kingsley United Methodist Church in rural Van Wert County, with Pastors Randy Bevington and Tony Perry officiating.

Calling hours are from 3-7 p.m. Tuesday, January 14, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home in Van Wert, where a Masonic service will be held at 7 that evening.
