Richard Moore Jr.

Richard Moore Jr., 57, of Van Wert, died Tuesday, January 21, 2014, at his residence.

He was born May 13, 1956, in Lexington, Ky., the son of Richard Sr. and Mary (James) Moore, who both survive in Van Wert.

Other survivors include three children, Kristian Moore of  Kent and Derek and Ethan Moore, both of Van Wert; three brothers, Raymond (Sylvia) Moore of Van Wert, Michael Moore of Las Vegas, Nev., and Tyrone (Debra) Moore of Fort Wayne, Ind.; and two sisters, Mary Turner and Shari (Steven) Darnell, both of Van Wert.

A sister, Sharlene Moore, preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Monday, January 27, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert, with the Rev. Bill Watson officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert.

Calling hours are from 1:30-2:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
