Development group speaker

On Friday, more than 30 members of the Van Wert County Economic Development Advisory Group and other guests attended the monthly economic and community development meeting, hosted this month by Holiday Inn Express and Suites. During the event, Gary Thompson, a guest speaker from the Regional Growth Partnership and JobsOhio, addressed the group. Thompson, vice president of the RGP and director of JobsOhio, Northwest Ohio Region, spoke highly of Van Wert and its assets for future economic growth. (photo submitted)
