Convoy plans ‘cabin fever bingo’ event

CONVOY — The Convoy Community Days Committee will be holding a “Cabin Fever Bingo” fundraiser on Saturday March 8, at the Edgewood Park Building in Convoy. Doors open 10 a.m. and bingo begins at 11 that morning.

Longaberger baskets made in Dresden and filled with goodies from local businesses are the prizes for the fundraiser. Those participating can play 20 games for $20. Basket sponsors are Dowler Heating & Air, Pond Seed Company, Lincoln Candle Company, Taylor Family Chiropractic, Hat Creek Ranch & Rodeo, Mercer Landmark of Convoy, Kitchens Inc., Annabelle Miller and family, Gearhart Jurczyk Funeral Home & Crematory, Hoover Garage, Convoy Tastee Freeze, Gibson Barnyard BBQ, Laudick’s Jewelry Inc., Cowan & Son Funeral Home, Delphos Granite Works/Carey Mathew authorized dealer, Frank’s Auto Detailing, The Sophist-cut/Liz Gibson owner/stylist and Amy Mengerink stylist, Dealey Accounting Firm LLC, Shear Magic Barber Styling, and independent Longaberger consultant Deb Miller.
The 2014 “Pamper Yourself Basket” raffle will include gift items from Van Wert Massage Therapy, Knight Pizza, Jones Farm Drainage, Pizza Hut, Distinct Creations, Wild Willy’s, JJ’s Hair on the Square, Sarah Burden, independent beauty consultant Karen Pugh, Total Reflections Day Spa, Shutterbugg Studio, Orchard Tree Restaurant, Sycamore Ice Cream. Raffle tickets are $1 each or six for $5.
