Junior high boys’ basketball

In the McDonald’s junior high boys’ basketball tournament games held Wednesday evening, Ada defeated Jefferson 42-20 at the seventh grade level and Allen East downed Columbus Grove 46-38 in eighth grade action.

The McDonald’s tourney continues this Saturday with a full slate of games, starting at 10 a.m. The schedule and game times are as follows:

Seventh Grade (Crestview Middle School gymnasium)

• 10 a.m. – Crestview vs. Ada
• 11:20 a.m. – Lincolnview vs. Allen East
• 12:40 p.m. – Bluffton vs. Paulding
• 2 p.m. – Columbus Grove vs. Spencerville

Eighth Grade (in Crestview High School gymnasium)

• 10 a.m. – Lincolnview vs. Allen East
• 11:20 a.m. – Spencerville vs. Jefferson
• 12:40 p.m. – Bluffton vs. Crestview
• 2 p.m. – Ada vs. Paulding

Concessions sponsored by the Crestview Knight Pride Club are available in the Crestview auditeria. Tournament t-shirts are also available at a cost of $12 apiece.
