CONVOY — Thursday night in freshman boys’ basketball action, the Crestview Knights hosted the Van Wert Cougars.

Both teams battled defensively in a grudge match and the Cougars came away with a one point win, 28-27.

The Knights fall to 5-2 on the season and need to bounce back on Monday when they travel to Wayne Trace and take on the rival Raiders with a 4:30 p.m. tip-off.
