Knight boys get top seed of VW sectionals

As expected the undefeated Crestview Knights are the top-seeded team in the Division IV boys’ basketball sectional being played at Van Wert.

The Knights garnered all 42 first-place votes, while Delphos St. John’s (10-6) was selected as the No. 2 seed in the sectional.

Crestview will have a bye in the first round of the sectionals, and then play the winner of the March 25 game between Lima Temple Christian (4-15) and Fort Jennings (2-16) on March 28, starting at 6:15 p.m.

St. John’s will also get a bye and will play at 8 p.m. March 28 against the winner of the Lincolnview (9-8) and Ottoville (8-11) tournament contest.

The winners of the two Van Wert sectional titles will then play the winners of the Ottawa-Glandorf sectional at the Elida Fieldhouse.
