WASHINGTON, D.C. — U.S. Representative Bob Latta (R-Bowling Green) encourages Ohio veterans to utilize a website recently launched by the Department of Veterans Affairs and several other agencies to help them calculate how far their Post-9/11 GI Benefits will go toward paying for college.
The website provides information, such as graduation rates, default rates and average student loan rates, for colleges and universities throughout the country.
“Our nation’s heroes have made significant sacrifices in service to this country and deserve every resource available to assist them in making a seamless transition to the civilian workforce upon their return home,” said Latta. “This website provides a one-stop shop for veterans to access important information regarding colleges and universities and how their benefits can be applied to make their education aspirations, and ultimately future career goals, more attainable.
“I commend the VA for its work in establishing this website, and I encourage Ohio’s veterans and service members alike to take advantage of this website and the valuable information it provides,” he added.
