“Night Photography” is a dark subject

This is a reminder that the Wassenberg Camera Club will meet Thursday, Feb. 13, at 7 p.m. at the Wassenberg Art Center located at 214 S. Washington St. “Night Photography” will be the competition theme.  For a $1 entry fee, members may submit three 4×6 inch prints or jpg slides no larger than one megabyte. Pictures must include the competition name, slide title and owner’s name. Winners must be present to receive awards.

The program will be on Special Effects and three techniques will be discussed. “Ghost Photography” (how to make images transparent), “Bokeh” (how to produce a soft, blurred background), and “Starbursts” (how to show rays of Light).

This meeting, as is all others, is open to the public and anyone with an interest in photography, regardless of skill level, is encouraged to attend.
