Pauline R. Kundert Gamble
Pauline R. Kundert Gamble, 95, of Van Wert, died at 6:55 p.m. Tuesday, February 11, 2014, at the Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center.
She was born September 24, 1918, in Paulding County, the daughter of the late James Artie and Gladys Ethel (Hebb) Keysor. On August 2, 1936, she married Forrest Arnold Kundert, who preceded her in death on March 24, 1989. She then married Galen E. Gamble, who died August 7, 2012.
Survivors include a daughter, Shirley Ann Kundert-Welker (Richard) Bolton of Elgin; two stepdaughters, Gayetta (James) Hogan of Celina and Barbara Anderson of North Carolina; a brother, Donald (Betty) Keysor of California; one daughter-in-law, Connie Lou (Foster) Kundert of Van Wert; two sisters-in-law, Dolores Keysor and Arlene Keysor; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 14 great-great-grandchildren.
A son, Kenneth Arnold Kundert; and four brothers, Wayne E. Keysor, Dale L. Keysor, Kenneth L. Keysor and Harold L. Keysor, also preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, February 15, at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Van Wert, with the Rev. William C. Haggis II officiating. Burial will be in Ridge Cemetery in rural Van Wert County.
Calling hours are from 2-8 p.m. Friday, February 14, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home in Van Wert and an hour prior to services Saturday at the church.
Preferred memorials: Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center or St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, both in Van Wert.
