Mary L. Huse

Mary L. Huse, 83, of Van Wert, died at 10:09 a.m. Friday, February 14, 2014, at the Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center.

She was born September 20, 1930, in New Castle, Ind., the daughter of the late Alva and Lethia (Bennett) Howard. On June 10, 1950, she married Don Huse, who survives in Van Wert.

Other survivors include two sons, Rodney L. (Anita) Huse of Janesville, Wis., and Kevin (Lisa) Huse of Decatur, Ind.; a brother, Robert (Mary Ann) Howard of New Castle; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. Monday, February 17, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home in Van Wert, with Pastor Jay Watts officiating. Interment will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 18, at South Mound Cemetery in New Castle, Ind.

Calling hours are from 5-7:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
