Eric Easley advances to state swim meet

CLEVELAND — Several Van Wert High School swimmers traveled to Cleveland State University to compete in the Northwest District Division II district swimming championships.

Eric Easley will advance to the state tournament in both the Individual Medley and backstroke events.  He qualifies with an eighth place ranking in the backstroke, and a 16th place ranking in the IM. Additionally, Eric’s IM time of 2:01.02 set a new Van Wert High School record.

Canton McKinley High School will host the OHSAA State Swimming and Diving Championships on February 19-22.
