Robert O. Bell

Robert O. Bell, 90, of Van Wert, died at 11:25 p.m. Friday, February 21, 2014, at Vancrest Health Care Center in Van Wert.

He was born July 20, 1923, in Van Wert, the son of the late Lester and Lorena (Fritz) Bell. On January 19, 1947, he married Helen Louise Bell, who preceded him in death.

Survivors include two children, Kenneth W. (Janet) Bell and Donely J. (Nancy) Bell, both of Van Wert; one sister, Mary Louise Kimpel of Fort Wayne, Ind.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

An infant son, Dwight Alan Bell; two brothers, Cliff Bell and Lester Bell Jr.; a half-brother, Ivan Bell; two sisters, Bernice Brown and Irene Rager; and a half-sister, Cecil Weaver; also preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, February 26, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert, with the Rev. Paul W. Miller officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert.
