Due to the days missed due to weather this winter, Crestview Local Schools will be attending a full school day this Saturday. Sophomore Cyler Miller said, “I am going to school on Saturday, but I am not looking forward to it and I don’t think we should have it. I feel that many other students feel that way as well.”

The Crestview Knights boys’ basketball team just finished up their regular season with a record of 22-0. The Knights won the outright NWC championship with an overtime win over Columbus Grove last Friday.  The team will be playing the winner of the Tuesday game between Fort Jennings and Temple Christian, at 6:15 at Van Wert High School for the sectional final.  Senior Cam Etzler said, “I am glad we got the NWC title and also got an undefeated season, but we are starting a new season here as tournament starts.”

The varsity girls’ team is now 20-1 with a win over St. Johns 45-29 to get the Lady Knights the sectional title. The girls will now move on to districts at Lima Senior High School. The ladies will play Pandora-Gilboa at 6:15 tonight.  Junior Lindsey Motycka said, “I think we have been playing really well, and we haven’t lost a game since our second game of the season, we just need to keep playing well throughout the tournament.”

Knight Vision has its last competition this Saturday at East Noble High School in Fort Wayne, Ind.
