VW parks ball leagues sign-up announced

Sign-ups for the Van Wert Parks & Recreation Department summer ball programs are approaching.  Sign-ups will take place at the Jubilee Park Office on the following dates and times: Thursday, March 13, from 6-7:30 p.m., and Saturday, March 15, from 10-11:30 a.m.

Programs offered for sign-ups are: Little Sluggers – 3-4 year olds (this is a six-week instructional program with two sessions, Tuesdays and Thursdays); T-Ball – 5-6 year olds; Minor League – 7-8 year olds.

Deadline to register is April 4, and a $5 late fee will be assessed after that date, with no registrations accepted after April 11.

Registrations will be taken for the Little Sluggers until sessions are full or a minimum of one week prior to the start of the program.

Registration forms are available at the Park Office or can be printed off from the www.vanwertparksrecreation.weebly.com.  There are also several other youth programs to choose from so visit the Parks and Recreation Department’s website and see what’s in store this summer.
